Our website uses “cookies”. Do you know what they are for and how they work?

Cookie files (the so-called “cookies”) are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored on the end device of the website Users and are intended to facilitate website use. These files usually contain the domain name of the website they come from, time of their storage on the end device as well as a unique number.

  • cookie files used to ensure security, e.g. used for detection of violations in terms of authentication on the website.
  • “efficiency” cookies making it possible to collect information on how individual Website pages are used.
  • “functional” cookies making it possible to “remember” the settings selected by the Users and to personalise the User’s interface, for example in terms of language or region of the User, font size, website appearance, etc.
  • "advertising” cookies making it possible to provide the Users with advertisements more closely matching their interests.

In many cases, the software used for browsing websites (web browser) by default accepts storage of “cookies” on the User’s end device.  The Website Users can change the settings for "cookies" at any time.  

These settings may be changed by the User to block the automatic enabling of “cookies” in the web browser settings or to display notification each time they are sent to the User’s end device.  Detailed information about the option to enable cookies and how to do it can be found in the settings of the User's software (web browser).
